It has not been confirmed what Xbox Live cross-play features will be coming to the Nintendo Switch version of Cuphead, but we're going to guess that achievements will be one of them.Īchievements will be very likely, since Minecraft on Switch has that same cross-play function. When you complete an achievement on the Switch version, you'll get the achievement on your Xbox Live account. These may appear as separate achievements for each device though (that's what it currently looks like with Minecraft). Other things that we hope to see are perhaps cloud saves, so you could pick up where you last left off on the Xbox or PC/Mac version, though we're not sure if that's possible. So for solo gamers like me who are victims of circumstance, it doesn’t matter that you can play the Switch version online.Online co-op would also be nice, though latency and lag could be potential issues.Įither way, we'd be excited for just achievements with our Xbox Live accounts, so at least that's one thing that wouldn't be too hard to accomplish, considering that it already works with other game titles. It’s a real shame that you can’t connect with random people on NSO. When the console edition releases, it will cost 49.99. Well, that’s all we have here about does Cuphead offers multiplayer or co-op. New downloadable content, The Delicious Last Course, is also available. See how each hurdle gets harder and harder to jump over just to play NSO games online with other people? Fucking Christ. Cuphead is now available on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Fifth hurdle: Actually be able to schedule a time with said friend because adulting. Fourth hurdle: have a friend with Expansion Pak who actually wants to play it. Third hurdle: Have Switch owner friends who have the Expansion Pak. Second hurdle: Have friends who actually own a Switch. (Or some other 3rd party platform.) So yeah there’s online, but you gotta jump over obstacles to be able to do it.įirst hurdle: Have friends. So then you gotta call them up on your phone or use the shitty NSO voice chat app on your phone. NSO games don’t connect to random people and it has to be someone on your friends list. I mean, even the Switch online version is just barely. But it would also be very useful for BC titles that don't support online anymore like OG Xbox games. To me, I feel this would be very useful not only for local multiplayer games like Cuphead, Battletoads, and Goldeneye in this case. For those who don't know, Steam Remote Play allows you to play local multiplayer games like Cuphead online, even if they don't support online multiplayer natively. Years ago, I suggested an xbox live feature for og xbox games that would be similar to Steam Remote Play. It's one of the retro hall of fame titles, and multiplayer is a big part of that. And it's honestly a big surprise that this port is even possible at all so I'm grateful regardless.īut I do find it a missed opportunity that Goldeneye won't support online at all. I'm not angry at Xbox since I understand they are using the xbla port as oppose to the n64 version that supports online using nintendo's emulator. If you want to play online, you have to get the switch version. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings. It’s a 2D action-platformer video game with a unique, cartoonish art style. Product was released on Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on September 29, 2017. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. Cuphead is a run and gun indie video game developed and published by StudioMDHR. It was confirmed today that Goldeneye 007 port won't have online multiplayer on Xbox (it will only support split screen multiplayer). Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles.

Every Apple Operating System Update equals a big fat fuck you in their faces of the crackers. People message me constantly asking "why certain plugins that used to work, don't work anymore" and this is why - Apple don't want you to crack software, Window's on the other hand don't give a flying fuck. If you're a noob and you want to unlock these, well good luck. After every occurring OS update, I have counted many problems, mainly because the developer's at Apple have added numerous security protocols. If you want to crack software then I would suggest using a Windows PC because cracking on an Apple Device isn't quite what it seems. On Windows it's mostly cool but on Mac, it really just fucks up everything. I face many problems when the user updates their OS (Operating System). They thrive in a space which they can socialize, sing and play without feeling crowded. Society Finches are active birds therefore, they require a large cage to fly around comfortably. Once you get a Society Finch, here are some of the things you need to consider to ensure your bird lives comfortably. If they try to bite you, they only deliver a little pinch because they have a small beak.Īmong other Finch bird species, they are the most peaceful Finches. Because these Finches are very peaceful, they only get startled and start to fly in the enclosure when they aren’t nesting or eating. They are challenging to handle because of their small size. In case of an attack, they’ll be the first to back down if confronted by a more aggressive finch. They are non-aggressive, friendly, and have an ideal temperament to co-exist with other bird species. Society Finches thrive well in the company of other birds and will adapt well to living in groups. They help in fostering abandoned chicks, which is also an essential breeding technique. They have highly developed parental instincts and will breed easily.īecause of their social personalities, breeders and zoos use them as foster parents for the chicks of other species. Just like their name, these birds are very social. Image Credit: stanbalik, Pixabay Temperament This bird is an ideal pet for breeders who want an easy-to-breed bird with an exciting history. While the Society Finch is a very popular cage and lab bird, the parent species are not present in zoos or private collections. According to its ancestry, this bird is assumed to be a crossbreed of the White-backed Munia and sharp-tailed finch species. As the only Finch that doesn’t live in the wild, they are believed to have been developed in Asia by Japanese and Chinese breeders. The history of this bird species is pretty unclear because, unlike other pet birds, they are not present in the wild. I would think if you were offered $300, you should grab it. It's really a severely altered model 1906 with 1890 parts. As far as collector value, not much, it's in fair condition at best. The slot in the tubular feed may only accept shorts unless it to is from a 1906. You might want to look into that a bit more, but I don't see why it shouldn't. If the barrel will accept the LR, you should be good to go. By the way, if you look up serial numbers for the model 1906, it shows your receiver was made in July / August 1912. Your gun may look more like a 1890 than a 1906 but it is in fact NOW a 1906. The rear sight doesn't appear to me to be the correct 30B but again it's hard to see. The tubular feed looks like it's from a 1890 but it's hard to see. The plain slide handle is definitely from a model 1906. From what I can tell, you have a model 1906 receiver (B) with a model 1890 barrel and 1890 butt stock. The picture you posted isn't clear at all. When they changed the model 1906 receiver in 1908 to accept the S, L, and LR, they added the letter "B". When the Model 1906 first became available, it was chambered exclusively for the. When the model 1906 rifle first came out, it had no letter with the serial number and was in 22 short only. Historyedit The Winchester Model 1906 was designed as a more inexpensive companion to the popular Model 1890, the main differences being the 1906s flat shotgun-style butt plate and rounded barrel, as opposed to the 1890s crescent butt plate and octagon barrel. Production of the Model 1890 ceased at the end of 1942, but the last two were made in 1949, serial numbers 854746, and 854747. The letter "B" was added to the receiver on the model 1906 sometime in 1908 to differentiate it from the 1890 receiver. 1927 to 1942 Model 1906 parts were used in 'parts cleanup' with Model 1890 receivers that were in the 1890 serial number range. What they probably said was that because the serial number on the receiver had the letter "B" beneath the number, that it was a receiver that was actually from a model 1906 not a model 90. I will post pictures of marking, if anything else would help I will be happy to post more.If I can throw my 2 cents in here, I would say that the guy at the gun shop was "spot on" when he said the barrel didn't match the serial number. I believe it may have an after market rear Marbles buckhorn site, if someone could give me some insight as to whether this is correct I would greatly appreciate it. It has a nice shiny bore with decent rifling and all mechanisms work smooth. You may need to consult a professional appraiser to determine the value of your gun. You may have a factory 'extra- option'. It is in the right serial number range as I believe it to have been manufactured in 1928, since long rifle didn’t get produced until around 1919 from what I have read. If there are other extra features not mentioned, and they look original. Hopefully the people with a great deal of knowledge more than I will let me know how I did? First off is it has some wear to it as I wanted one I could take out shooting and was in similar condition to the one my grandfather owned. I have decided to add to his collection and keep the tradition going (I may have developed a bit of an addiction□). I finally had the opportunity to add an 1890 Winchester in the elusive 22 long rifle caliber to my collection! I’m no expert by any means but I have read a great deal about these great little rifles after inheriting my grandfather’s firearms. The core idea in this system was to dynamically batch meshes together, for characters this would be based on the character model hierarchy, and for everything else the grouping is spatial. Most of this code survived to this day but evolved over time, and is still used when instancing doesn’t apply. This was further optimized and deployed around November 2012. Otherwise known as “featherweight parts”. Initially added for “100 player” project, in October it evolved to render all parts and continued to be used as part renderer until the introduction of instancing in 2018. August 2012: Prototype new part rendering The rendering code back then was based on OGRE rendering engine, so I had to learn that, and this was also my first time using OpenGL professionally - prior to that I’ve used Direct3D 9 and proprietary console APIs, and Direct3D 10/11 as a hobby. Notably including half-pixel offset fixes for Direct3D9 which I guess is a rite of passage for rendering engineers. July 2012: Assorted fixes to rendering code I don’t think I could have done it without you and I hope this continues for as long as possible despite the current trying and uncertain times. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The reason why I still enjoy what I do is because whenever I write about a new big thing I’m working on or a small feature or even a bug fix, it’s usually met with excitement which keeps me going. Hopefully this will be fun!īefore we begin, I just want to conclude this by saying that I’m very grateful to the Roblox leadership for treating me well, for all the friends and colleagues I made along the way, and for the wonderful Roblox community. This is based on resummarizing and reliving the source control history, which tells me I’ve had 2752 changes that made it to our main branch, with merge commits counting as one, so, uh, this blog might be on a larger side. So I thought it might be fun to do what I’ve planned to do for a year or more now, and to go over all decently sized projects I’ve ever worked on at Roblox. I am really unsure of what the future holds but it’s hard to imagine what, if anything, comes after Roblox - I certainly don’t intend to leave any time soon… I was very fortunate to join at the time when I did and witness the growth of our technology and business. I think I could talk for hours about Roblox - it somehow became a huge part of my life. I don’t really understand why Roblox is so successful - you can invent all sorts of reasons in retrospect but it’s hard to validate them, and if you came to anybody back in 2012 and asked for an investment to build a platform where all games are user generated and run on a custom engine with a custom toolset and all users participate in a giant virtual economy and …, I think you’d have gotten a blank stare.īut I do understand that I found the perfect place for me, especially at that point in my career - I enjoy working on game technology but I never liked working on actual games, and Roblox maximizes the number of developers who can use the technology you work on while maintaining a good autonomy and a very wide range of problems you’d need to solve. However I don’t really remember what was going through my head in regards to my perception of Roblox - why did I join besides just thinking I want to do something else for a change? Who knows, but I am glad I did. I remember my interview pretty well, I remember having lunch at some place in San Mateo downtown near the Roblox HQ - a few people were at lunch including Roblox CEO David Baszucki and I remember him asking many questions about my thoughts about the engines and rendering, and distinctly remember not finishing most of my lunch because I talked most of the time. I started on my first full time job in April 2007 so at this point I’ve worked for 13 years in game development and 8 of them were at Roblox. The platform was so different (and so strange!) that I decided to take a chance - here I am, 8 years later, still working at Roblox and enjoying it. I knew absolutely nothing about Roblox, but California was nice and my friend told me it would be awesome. My work on FIFA was as a contractor and I got an offer for a full-time position, but I also had a friend who worked at Roblox reach out and offer me to move to California and work on Roblox. I joined Roblox at the end of 2012 as a rendering engineer I had just spent more than a year working on various titles from FIFA franchise after years of console game development and was becoming a bit tired of the “big game development”. It is a simple and straightforward timing light. There are no special features or safety features. Otherwise, there is really nothing that makes this stand out against its competitors. So if that is what you prefer, you will need to look elsewhere. It is worth noting that this is an analog timing light, not a digital. But MSD ignition lights are not the easiest to come by, which may be the reason for the higher price tag. The higher price does not really equate to a better quality. This timing light from MSD is definitely more expensive than its competitors. So if that is what you have, this is likely the best product for you. That would be expected given that this light is specifically made to work with the MSD box. The customer service from MSD is very good and they are responsive to questions or concerns. It weighs just under 2 pounds, so it is easy to handle. Its light is bright enough to be easily visible during the daylight, and it is detachable for storage. With a simple red design, MSD boasts that it is extremely accurate and tough. This timing light from MSD is top-quality for a top price. Others report that the timing light might wear out too soon.
